Adam Lambert Performance At Ama’s?
Is anybody else appalled by Adam Lambert’s performance at the AMA’S sunday night? I sure am. I found it disgusting to watch. The song was basically about sex. And the supposed “dance” moves used for example when he shoved a guys and a girls head into his ‘lala’ area. EWW!

Sex isn’t what sells,,,it’s good talent. I was appalled and i am glad they cancelled his GMA performance!!
Also, i like lady gaga’s Music but her costume was a little much too!

He’s all about shock and awe and put that in your pipe and smoke it, America! Adam has a lot of talent but he is going the way of Whitney Houston and way too early in his career.
Now, what else is there after performance? If he comes out as a normal performer now, everyone is just going to yawn and say, yada, yada, yada, been there done that.
He is just sort of throwing his talent into the gutter like the flip of a cigarette butt. He is definitely trying to appeal to the hardcore gang, street, drug, crime-ridden scene. Why?
Artists do weird things and usually the better they are the more they seem to want to shock and awe and push the envelop as far as they can. I think he will prevail but he better have a pretty slick come back up his sleeve and be ready to do a little begging.
I agree with you,,,it was totally crude it was offensive esp. during prime time….I had liked his Music b4 this. Yes, he definetly got alot of attention and negative attention will probably sell more records now,,,,,but it would have been more honorable and have more integrity if he sold more records based on his talent and not on this scandel.
And to gmone (another answerer here),,,u cannot compare his behavior to madonna kissing britney spears or them grabbing their crotches,,,what he did was totally discusting to most ppl and if you don’t understand that it must be that you are too young.

I’m more appalled at his singing. He should have done better than that.
LOL. A lot of Songs are about sex. Why is that a reason to be appalled? Look at the other performances like Shakira’s. That was sexually provocative also.

I liked it though it may have been a bit too racy for that format. Madonna, Britney, etc. have been humping their male dancers on stage for years so what’s the difference? Jeeesh, it’s 2009 and people are still freaking out over two men kissing.
people are grabbing for every last string they can to stay or get famous in the industry today. Talent or no talent, it doesn’t matter anymore. it’s all about getting people to talk about you that makes you stick around.
and I don’t like it. We’re so desensitized now, that what will they have to do next to get our attention?
I Absolutely LOVED Adam before this Performance it was completely inappropriate. Now I still like him just not nearly enough.
