Let me start of saying that I was for Kris Allen all the way, and am very happy that he won. He deserved it in my opinion AND America voted it that way. so yeah…
anyways what were your thoughts on the show? and why are so many mad that Kris won? I mean yeah he did win, so Adam is still gonna be famous, do good and everything. Look at last year, David Archuleta went to the UK on Tour…trust me Adam will be just fine. Speaking of Archie, I wanted him to win last year but he didn’t, still again he’s doing amazing, so chill Lambert fans Adam will be fine.

I’m shocked that Adam didn’t win seeing that he was a long time favorite, but I think Kris’s win is well deserved.
I actually think Adam got the better end of the deal because he isn’t eternally tied to American Idol and he has more artistic freedom to make the kind of Songs we all know he will….the crazy, cool ones.

I’m thinking Adam (which I was rooting for from the beginning) will have an adv. being runner-up. Just because Kris won, it doesn’t mean he’s going to be more successful.
i think adam is the more talented of the two.
He will definitely go on to do great things, and I think Kris needed the title more than Adam will, so I’m not unhappy or surprised that he won.
I just think that Kris, though talented, sounds a lot like fifty other already famous singers out there.
Meh, Lambert in my opinion has a far more flexible, diverse unique voice and I do see him moving on a lot further than Kris. So no worries here.

I loved Adam. I was cheering for him day one!! I was bummed, but yeah Kris deserved it! They both did!! And they also will both come famous and have great lives. So I thought it was entertaining and I thought Adam would win, and when he didnt it was a shocker for me…

I loved adam…. i liked kris too but i thought adam should have won cuz he was a better preformer… he changed it up…. and kris kinda got boring… hes good dont get me wrong but it just got boring with the same stuff.. idk i thought the finale was soooooo good. I loved it:]

I agree! Actually both contestants were amazing and deserved it. I was for Kris too, but Adam isn’t bad. I also think that this isn’t the last for Adam Lambert. He is beginning a whole new life. Anyways, yeah, like last year David Cook won, but we hear more about David Archuleta! I liked David Archuleta better than David Cook. Take Katherine McPhee-she didn’t win, but I hear about her all the time. I always forget that Taylor Hicks ever won that year!!
i wanted adam to win ,but in a way it will work in adams favour.he will still get a contract offered to him ,but he will be able to have his say and not spend the next year being controlled and having to sing whatever he is told to.
People are mad because Adam Lambert by far had a better voice, he had more of a range. I don’t have anything against Kris Allen he does have a great voice but he just sounds like everyone else, he’s not unique. He reminds of someone like Matt Nathanson.
yeah, i agree with you. i’m a die-hard adam lambert fan and i was pissed when i heard that kris won. i mean the guy is nice and all, but can’t even vocally compare to Adam! kris is average/boring, and will be forgotten soon like other past idols. Adam Lambert doesn’t need AI, he’s a STAR already!!!
The only thing that makes me angry is that the show is a singing talent not popularity show but so many people didn’t vote for Adam because they disliked him wearing eyeliner and black nail polish and thought he was gay. They thought he was too good so they voted for Kris. Kris isn’t even close to Adam’s singing talent. Don’t get me wrong I wanted Kris to be in the top as I really liked him but the winner clearly should have gone to the best singer Adam. It has made me rethink watching the show again as I now know that there are a lot of narrow minded viewers that vote for the clean cut guy and not the talent.
You are right Adam will become very famous but probably as a rocker and people that love rock don’t watch American Idol. I predict next year will be the last season anyway because without Simon the show will be toast.

here is (what i think) happened…all of the danny fans had already narrowed it down in their minds to danny and adam so they disliked adam and when danny got voted off all of the danny fans dumped their votes on Kris…i definitely think Kris deserved it!!!!! yeah baby!!!!!! GO KRIS ALLEN!!!
I think people are more pissed that Adam lost, regardless of who actually won.
I can’t speak for others, but for me, it seemed like it was Adam against everyone else. He was the most exciting person on the whole show (including the judges). He was the center of the whole show, and I tuned in just to watch him preform. I don’t think it mattered WHO was against him in the end, it only mattered that he won. If anyone else had be in the finals with him (and won), everyone would be pissed at them.
I also think it had something to do with that fact that Kris was unknown until close to the end.
With so much publicity Adam will do well even without the Idol title. It’s like what you said about Archuleta. David A has sold 700k albums, not bad compared to idol winner, Cook, who sold 1.1 million. Especially a guy like Adam, we will definitely not forget him.
Though, I am very happy my dark horse pick from way back in the top 36 won (my pick was him and Anoop way back then). Kris was the only one the top 13 who could play multiple instruments well on stage and he has improved so much since then. I feel like a proud parent, lol.
It’s basically a win-win situation for those who make it to the top of American idol.
I think it was great that Kris won I was rooting for him!!!! Another reason it is good is because if Kris had been runner up then he probably never would have done much if anything. But since he is the winner we know he is gonna come out with something and most likely Adam will come out with a Album anyways!

This has been the best season of American Idol in a while. The most talented, charismatic, sincere and entertaining artists ever. However, Adam was the one that stood out from the crowd from the beginning.Kris on the other hand, was kinda invisible until top 5. I honestly didn’t know he was in the show. LOL Don’t get me wrong I liked Kris too, but the final two should have been Danny and Adam.. I love Adam, he reaches notes like no other ….. can’t deny that! Waiting impatiently for his Album..
