American Idol’s Adam Lambert is TERRIBLE! Do you believe Idol is rigged?
I know it’s a matter of opinion and here’s mine (if you don’t like it, sorry. once again, matter of opinion.) Adam has butchered EVERY song I’ve ever heard him do. The judges supposedly love it, and I don’t understand. No one I have met has liked Adam. They think all he does is stick out his tongue and scream like a screeching baby and always looks like he’s trying way to hard to be sexy/smooth. I’m not saying he’s a completely bad singer, he’s okay if he’s not screeching (but too bad he always does). He has theatrical experience but I think that’s where he needs to stay. Because that’s all I see. Not because it’s preset, because I didn’t find this out until way later, but because it’s all he does. It’s over dramatic & he’s just screaming his way though a song. Not only that, but he was almost ALWAYS on last, with a huge intro and stage setup better than the others got (so he’s the last one you’ll remember), never been in the bottom three, etc… Then when people started complaining about it (TAH DAH!) He’s put on first, put in the bottom two, and so on…
Does anyone else see this & agree? (If you don’t that’s fine too. I won’t insult your opinion if you don’t insult mine. Respect.)
See? This is incredible how many people agree. This is proof right here. Again, I do not know ONE person (personally) who likes Adam. And the fact that strangers see it too definitely goes to show it goes beyond just people I know. The show is DEFINITELY, hands down, without a doubt, rigged for Adam. Truely sad. The best talent on there is Allison (who gives me crazy goosebumps everytime she opens her mouth to sing) and Kris. And they get insulted and brought down everytime. FUNNY HOW THINGS WORK!
Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention, his preformances are so ridiculous, that they are laughable. I enjoy that he makes me smile and he entertains me by acting a fool, but that’s not what this show is about. It’s supposed to be about raw talent. He does not have it outside of the theatrical field.
Allison went home!?!?! WHAAAAAT!? This is a joke! I’m not worried, I know she’ll definitely have a career after this and surpass all of them just like Daughtry (eventhough I don’t like his style of Music). Daughtry got sent home even earlier than she did. I plan on buying her Record. But I REFUSE to watch Idol EVER again! It should be called “Producer’s Idol.” Ridiculous.

I truly believe it is undermined by Simon Cowell, He has definitely got a boy crush on Adam. If anyone is a true blue and original pro on the stage it’s Allison.
I agree in a lot of respects. I do think he is talented and his range is definitely impressive, but I find it really unpleasant to listen to him because of the level of screaming and such. And I definitely think that the producers of the show and/or judges have singled Adam out as the one they want to win, so they praise him much more highly than the others. It is incredibly irritating; I’m sick of the judges being indifferent towards Kris and Allison (who I like a lot) and kissing the ground that Adam and Danny (who bother me) walk on.
I gotta go along with you. He can sing, but that screeching he seems to do with each song is getting annoying as heck. And, he thinks he’s all that. He’s not. Did you see the look on his face when he was in the bottom three group? It was priceless!
I agree with you there. I thought he was original at first but now every song has to have that signature screeching in it, it’s getting very annoying. Almost makes me want Alison to win.
You may not like him but the FACT is that he is hitting all his notes and blowing Songs out of the water so of course he’s going to get praise. If he hits all the notes and brings some crazy amazing vocals, what do you want? The judges to say he was bad when he wasn’t? It’s not rigged. He’s good and the judges say he’s good and you just don’t care for his voice.
Who do you like? If it’s Allison then fine but if it’s Danny or Kris I have to laugh b/c they can not even touch the level Allison and Adam are on especially Kris who couldn’t even hit the higher notes in his duet song last night. LOL>
I guess it all boils down to a matter of tasty. I happen to find him very tasty. Everyone is entitled to there own opopinionho. ‘that is what makes this world go round.
I think he’s really good, but he sometimes overdoes the screams. However, he has amazing vocal ranges none of the others can touch. He has charisma and stage presence. American loves him, and they’re voting for Adam. Allison is the only good one besides Adam. Kris is mediocre, and Danny’s not special or unique.
I want either Allison or Danny to win. ‘NUFF SAID. XD lol

I am a musician and am around good and great singers all of the time. I have watched and enjoyed the show since it started. I do not believe the show is rigged, but do think that the show uses the judge’s comments to bait the voters in Adam’s favor. I too find him entertaining in making me laugh when he screeches the high notes. Think about this: If idol was a sound only program with no camera (focusing on pure VOCALS) would Adam still get all of the positive feedback and votes that he is getting now?
Every artist needs to be unique in a way that they stand out. Adam is definitely unique. Even though I don’t care for the makeup and other things, I only judge him on his singing ability. His singing ability should not have carried him this far. I think he will have a somewhat successful career in Entertainment, but will forever be searching for recognition. Look at Taylor Hicks.
There are groups and radio stations promoting groups that will cast votes in the opposite direction at the worst contestant.They do this just to swing vote counts from what actual voters would vote in their hearts.
I believe that this coupled with the judges voter baiting comments is what Adam is riding on. It is sad that groups purposely vote opposite of what they really would normally because it is a great and very successful show.
Simon Cowell hit the nail on the head when he commented on Adam’s Ring of Fire performance, “I think Americans are now throwing out their televisions”
If Adam does win I and my family will no longer watch the show. But I will keep my HDTV
He is a bit theatrical for me as well, but he is a good singer and has a lot of range to his voice. It is difficult to deny that he is talented. I also noticed how his stage setup is elaborate all the time whereas the others sing under a lightbulb. I do think the show is rigged toward certain contestants but it is every year not just this one. This year the producrs obviously want Gokey and Adam in the finale or Gokey would have gone home yesterday instead of Allison. His performance Tuesday was awful and I don’t mean just the last note. The whole thing form start to finish was craptastic.

Danny butchered Dream On and Chris is so boring, he sings the same Songs every damn week, something different here buddy?

Now Dancing With the Stars…that was rigged this past week.
He’s incredible!!!! Hence, why he’s still there. He has an amazing range, and he can definitely sing anything!
I don’t necesarily think he’s going to win, but he definitely deserves to be there.
This is the top three I wanted, i’ll be happy with however it turns out.
