Are there ever days when you want to be totally alone?
There is nothing wrong that would make me feel this way, but, sometimes I wish I had a day COMPLETELY to myself. As much as I love my husband, and my pets, I wish they could just have the house to themselves and let me have a day at a spa or a resort or a hotel room all to myself. I don’t think this makes me a bad person.
Do you ever feel this way? Whataya say? Y!A day spa trip?

i get like that…i just like to be able to lounge and not have to do anything…sometimes you need that time for urself…and we are def not bad people. =)
Yep, and those are the days that my husband decides its actually time to want to spend quality time with me, AFTER MONTHS OF BEING IGNORED.

Everybody should have a whole day to themselves. It is very therapeutic.
Yes. I used to feel guilty about it, too. I have three kids (5 and under), have been married for 13 years. 11 year old dog with the bladder the size of a walnut. Need I say more? I could use a Spa Day!!!!! Take me with you, please.
That’s completely normal. We all need time to ourselves sometimes.
Oh my gosh yes!!! As much as I love my fiance, 2 kids and 4 cats, give me some private time already! Treat yourself to that spa girlfriend and have fun for all of the rest of us who can’t get a second of peace and quiet to ourselves!

I get the house to myself most of the week, once they’ve left for work, it’s just me Milly, Amy and Bob, it heaven.
I can do some work, have a nice walk, and then sit down all afternoon and do whatever l please.

Alone time is terribly important. You are not unique in this dilemma, many people share it.
You just have to put your foot down and tell him that you need time to yourself.
I’m lucky because i get plenty of it, and I really do enjoy it too.

Totally, but it is hard with a wife two young kids and a dog…I havent had a vacation more than a long weekend since my honeymoon seven years ago, and there wasnt much alone time then
…I would just like to go on a day hike with a good book for a day!!!
well my hubbys a truck driver so i’m very happy with the dogs during the week. but yesterday i unplugged the phone for about 4 hrs for
<-<-obvious reasons. just needed quiet for awhile.
Oh most definately!! I’m all for a day spa trip!! I would love to have a day like that! The only alone time I have is going and coming home from work. How said is that! I think we as women deserve a day to ourselves every now and then.
I have a husband, 2 kids, 5 dogs,and 7 cats. I also take care of my 80 year old grandmother. I am never alone. I would pay to be alone!! I forgot want it feels like to be alone.
Absolutely. I get to where I just want to hide in a room, where it’s quiet and no one can find me. Everyone needs at least a little alone time to themselves for some peace and quiet.
I feel this way right now actually. I’m sick as a dog, have to be at work, and just wish I could go somewhere to hide.

Not really. I enjoy the company of my parents,siblings,and dogs. If I DO want ‘alone’ time, then all I have to do I go down into my room! Or if I want to get away from people I just go outside and play with the dogs or go onto the computer!
A spa, today,right now? (lol) I can’t! Today’s is my parents anniversary! =D
Yes, there are days when I want to be alone with my thoughts and curl up with a book. Ideally sitting on balcony overlooking a lovely scenic view or water, if not a really comfy chair and some indugent chocolate would be a decent second choice.
