Hes just trying to be a white M.J.
Ain’t gonna work.
And he will never be able to dance like he did.
I loved it. The kiss with TommyJoe was pretty freaking hot. And I loved halfway through when he tripped on the stairs and nearly fell on his face, but ended up going into that weird Ninja roll :p. That was hilarious. The vocals could’ve been a bit better, that was my only complaint. But in a generation of lip-syncing, at least he reminded everyone how difficult it is to put on a performance, while actually singing live. Hopefully,he can perfect that over time. But,overall, I loved the performance.
I understand why he did it too. Ever since Idol, he’s been getting it from both sides. First, after the pics of him kissing a guy came out, Bill O’Rielly had a whole segment on whether a Gay man could or should win American Idol and what it would mean for America if he did. But then blogger Perez Hilton attacked him for not coming out during the show and basically called him a coward who’s ashamed of who he is. But when he officially came out, Gene Simmons attacked him and said no one wants to know about his sex life (though EVERYONE knows about Gene’s). But recently Adam got attacked by the editor of Out magazine for the way he appeals to women and straight guys because he wants him to only appeal to Gays, like a bad stereotype. So all year it’s been “come out of the closet”-”Go back in”, “He’s too Gay”-”He’s not Gay enough”, etc. And I guess he finally got to the point where enough is enough and decided to give all of the haters the finger, figuratively and literally. And I can’t say I blame him.
And,again, the kiss with TommyJoe was hot.
Rock on, Glambert and Glitter Baby!
I don’t think that majority of America approves of shockingly immoral entertainers. They tolerate them until the curiosity of the newness wears off but it never lasts long. The PC crowd has led us all into hell where we have to tolerate the likes of Howard Stern, Perez Hilton, Lady Gaga and now Adam Lambert. All of which the majority dislike and those who are going through periods of rebellion will soon grow out of liking. He’s a disgusting passing phase but passing, nevertheless…thank God.
Yes it had to with the lyrics but he was on a family network with kids watching that. He knew that. If he had been on MTV that would of been fine but he wasn’t. I certainly didn’t want to see him grabbing people’s crotches. it was horrible and disgusting and very disturbing to watch.
hell to the no!
I loved the performance. People made a big deal out of nothing. Adam is a sexy beast!
& I think the song is great, too.
I love Adam Lambert but thought the whole performance was a mess, he was put in a pretty tough spot and clearly was nervous but really, the singing was terrible, the whole thing too forced and stiff, sexual without being sexy, he fell for gods sake (although kudos to cover up on that) and then the whole crotch in face thing, uh no, not TV appropriate, not at all and he looks stupid not admitting that.
But I love him for his talent and he has a great voice and I love his Album!! FYE is one of my least favorite Songs though………..
It was wrong on so many levels, it’s wrong to watch this at any age in my opinion, it’s an award show, I’m not expecting or wanting to see what looked to me like porn almost…..and lol…. kids watch t.v. at 10 p.m., which kid doesn’t, is that really an excuse – your kids should be in bed, and not watching T.V.?
what the guy did was sick, in a bad way…..
