So Ellen DeGeneres is replacing Paula Abdul as a judge on American Idol……..?
If this had happened earlier……..say, last year……
Would she have been biased in favor of Adam Lambert?
because he’s gay, and she’s always trying to promote the gay community.
She did invite Chris Allen (the straight guy who won) on her show to sing…..so she has no hard feeling towards him……..
but do you think she should have been biased in Adam’s favor because she’s an advocate for the gay community?
I think she would feel tempted to crown the 2nd gay person ever to win American Idol.
For the Record: Adam really should have won; he was clearly more talented.
But that’s not what I’m asking. I’m asking; Would Ellen have been biased in Adam’s favor due to the fact that he’s gay?

I really only watch AI for the first few episodes-
I think that she is definately less spacey and whateverthehellelse Paula Abdul was. I’m not sure that’s a good thing for the show-on the one hand, clear and lucid judgement that doesn’t make everyone say “huh?”, on the other, I think Paula Abdul actually drew people to the show just to watch how messed up she could be. Also, does she have a music background? If not, she still represents a good “popular” judge-one that understands the mind of the average American music listener.
So, in a nutshell, we’ll see. I wish her the best.

american idol is rigged. they will make more money off of Lambert’s record sales than they would off of him being the “Idol” for a year… it’s just another FAUX TV show.
