I think his comment was far more honest and straight up than what Perez Hilton said about Bill.
Perez said he looks like a girl and takes the p*ss out of his looks. I don’t think he is hitting on him, and his androgynous look is alluring, and I agree with what he said, but I think that coming from an older guy, it could be seen the wrong way.

haha, I am sick of my guy friends not caring when I rant about Bill’s smexyness, so I was talking about guys to my gay friend and we have totally different taste in guys based on looks and he thought Bill was too girly lol but he said that Tom looked hot in the pic with his hair photoshopped short 
i dint think that really a compliment more like just a comment (does that make any sense?) it not the most flatering thing to say to a person

i dont think he was hitting on bill. adam is an amazing performer, and ya he may be gay, but that doesnt mean hes gonna hit on every guy. altho bill is extremely sexy <3 bill is straight and it doesnt matter. im sure alot of gay guys like bill. im really happy that he twittered about bill, because im sure alot of people where like “who is bill kaulitz”??? and they went and searched him and fell in love with the band<3

I don’t really think he was hitting on him, lol. I think Adam looks up to Bill. Like he’s said before that Bill is his hair idol. Bill is a really sucessful person, and Adam, who also wants to be a successful singer known for his uniqueness..probably appreciates what Bill has done and will do.
I mean if he was hitting on him, the whole alien part really shoulda been left out, haha..and maybe the androgynous part, heh.
Anyway, I don’t have a problem with gay guys, and if Adam wants to hit on Bill, WHY shouldn’t he be able to? He has just as much right as us girls do. We all know Bill is straight, and I’m sure Adam knows that too, but he has the right to be able to pursue whoever he wants just as much as we do. Wether a compliment comes from a gay guy or a straight girl, it doesn’t matter, it’s still flattering.
Anyway, back to actually answering your orginal question.
I think it was really sweet of Adam to say something like that about Bill. I’m sure he didn’t mean it in a degrating way. In his mind it was probably seen as compliment, even if we don’t really see it that way.
