Whats With The Discrimination—> Adam Lambert?
Okay, so everyone is talking about his performance on the AMA’s and I don’t get it. We see things on MTV everyday,girls wearing technically nothing and grinding up on other men, but when a bi-sexual artist performs and makes out with his pianist it immediately gains all attention? I understand that people may not feel comfortable watching something like that, but it IS discrimination against his sexuality! I think its so unfair that people are attacking him, the air BJ thing was kinda weird..and him making out with his STRAIGHT pianist was a little off edge, because of that simple reason that hes straight, but why does everyone care so much,when little 4 year olds are shaking their *** and rolling up their clothes dancing to Beyonce and Lady Gaga?

I agree. It’s not like he’s the first person to ever do a shocking performance. Does anyone remember the Britney/Madonna/Christina kiss or Marilyn Manson’s bare butt
2 years in a row? Of course, all of that was on the VMAs,though. Maybe it wasn’t so much the performance, but the venue. Had he done all of that on Mtv, people probably wouldn’t have even batted an eyelash and if they did freak out, then it would’ve been discrimination because they allow everything else. But considering that it was on a non-cable channel on a family-friendly show, I guess that one’s kind of hard to call. Maybe it was just the wrong time and place. I don’t know. i hope that’s all it was, though.
But,regardless, I loved the performance. And straight or not, I thought the kiss was HOT! :p
I can’t believe 1500 people complained to abc about his performance being raunchy. I have seen MUCH worse. Why didn’t anyone complain about Carrie Underwood’s raunchy performance or Lady Gaga? Lady Gaga looked completely naked with that nude colored outfit she wore. I think Adam Lambert’s performance sucked because I didn’t like his singing. It had nothing to do with the raunchiness of it.

It was a sad attempt at gaining attention. Yea MTV shows stupid **** all the time but this was on a family network. Parents who don’t normally let their younger kids watch mtv might have thought it was ok to watch these award shows considering it was ABC. Only to find some moron trying to make his lame performance into some soft core porn vid. It’s not about discrimination and i’m soooo over people ALWAYS trying to use that as an excuse for EVERYTHING. It’s about acting appropriate and like you have a little bit of class…
and for the Record carrie underwood and lady gaga’s (as much as i cant stand gaga) performance was NOT raunchy. I’m pretty sure i didnt see them walking people around in bondage comstumes and shoving peoples heads in their crotches while grinding…get over it lambert is pretty sad. I mean really come on..what he couldnt make a name for himself by just singing well he had to act like an idiot to get people talking?
