Why do people think Lady Gaga owns sexy music videos (like any other female artist who does sexy is copying?)?

I’m tired of so many people saying that if a female artist does a sexual Music video she’s automatically copying Lady Gaga. In case you haven’t noticed Lady Gaga has only been around since like 2008 But Christina Aguilera has been doing sexy Music videos since 2001, if you’ve seen ‘Lady Marmalade’ and ‘Dirrty’. Lady Gaga herself even admitted once that she thinks Christina Aguilera is cool. If anything, SHE’S somewhat influenced by Christina.

I’m not saying that Lady Gaga isn’t cool, I’m starting to like her. I just like Christina more and I’m tired of everyone saying she copied her when they clearly both have different styles. Xtina has always been and always will be a mix of different styles.

And then there are those people who are saying Miley Cyrus new video ‘Can’t be tamed’ is copying off of Lady Gaga. Yes, the video is wild and sexy but nothing about it reminds me of Lady Gaga. The SONG reminds me of a combo of something Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, or Christina would sing but the actual VIDEO reminds me of Christina Aguilera’s Music vid for Fighter. (the blackness, the angry vibe, the busting out of a cage like Christina busted out of a box). Lady Gaga’s videos aren’t dark or angry and I never saw her do a rare bird in a cage theme. It reminds me a little bit of Adam Lambert too.
And as for the way she was dressed, that reminded me more of something Beyonce would wear. Miley has admitted to looking up to Beyonce. I doubt she was trying to copy off of Lady Gaga.

Just because it’s sexy doesn’t mean it’s Gaga’s, people.
